Dr. Andrew Lum earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University, followed by a Periodontics Certificate and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology from UCLA. He was initially drawn to periodontics for the precision and skill the specialty demands. He developed a deep appreciation for the crucial role periodontists play in the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease, which carries serious systemic health implications. He is excited and proud to be part of the next generation of periodontists helping patients achieve their best smile.

Dr. Lum is passionate about helping patients retain their natural teeth. Whether calming the fears of anxious patients or using the latest regenerative techniques to overcome bone loss, he embraces the multifaceted nature of periodontics.

An avid traveler and foodie, Dr. Lum loves exploring new trails on his bike and sampling diverse cuisines around the world. He finds that regardless of how tired he is at the end of a long day, he still enjoys the time and preparation that goes into cooking a meal for loved ones.
